Victim Identified In Hill District Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Police are searching for suspects following a deadly shooting in the Hill District.

Officials say it happened around 9 p.m. Saturday in the 2100-block of Bentley Drive.

Police say a 18-year-old Maurice Wright was shot several times along a sidewalk near the Terrace Village Housing project.

"Upon there arrival they found a black male who was lying between the 2100 and 2300," said Lt. Dan Hermann, of the Pittsburgh police. "Multiple shots had been fired and we're investigating and we're following any leads we possible can get up here at the time, and we're processing the scene."

Police continue to search for suspects.
