Duquesne Man Dies After Overnight Shooting

DUQUESNE (KDKA) ― An overnight shooting has claimed the life of a man from Duquesne.

The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. near the Hilltop Parkview Manor Apartments on Duquesne Place Drive.

Police say Maurice Malachi, 22, was taken to Mercy Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

There is no word right now if there are any suspects.

Any autopsy has been scheduled for today.

The investigation into the shooting continues.
