Police Arrest Butler Co. Robbery Suspect

Shawn Hobel was wanted in connection with two convenience store robberies in Butler County over the weekend.

Police arrested a man who robbed two convenience stores in Butler County over the weekend.
According to police, Shawn Hobel, 27, of Ellwood City, robbed the Last Minit Mart in the 1600-block of Perry Highway in Muddy Creek Township around 10 p.m.
He was arrested after another robbery at the Drucker's General Store on New Castle Road in Worth Township around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
He was eventually located and caught by Pennsylvania State Police from New Castle.
Hobel is facing several charges including: robbery, criminal attempted robbery, theft and receiving stolen property.
He is being lodged at the Butler County Jail on $200,000 bond and his preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 3.
