Route 60 Crash Victims Flown To UPMC Presby

BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― Two people were flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after an accident in Beaver County.

State Police say 18-year-old Molly Eakles, from Beaver Falls, was heading north on Route 60 when she lost control near the Brighton exit.

She ended up in opposing traffic and crashed head-on with a Jeep Cherokee driven by 49-year-old Karen Diffenbacher of Enon Valley.

According to police, both women were flown to UPMC Presbyterian hospital with severe injuries.
