Big Ben Helps To Open New Ronald McDonald House

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger helped cut the ribbon on the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh's new home Tuesday.

The "House That Love Built" opened with 60 private apartments - three times as many as the old facility - and includes a pedestrian bridge to Children's Hospital.

The new house is located at 451 44th Street in Lawrenceville - next to the new Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Those on hand for the festivities were some of the charity's early supporters, including Ronald McDonald House Founder Jim Murray and Art Rooney II.
