Car Hit By Rocks Thrown From Greensburg Overpass

GREENSBURG (KDKA) ― Police in Westmoreland County are investigating after they say a car was hit by rocks that were thrown from an overpass early on Thursday morning.

Officials say the two rocks were thrown from the railroad overpass on East Pittsburgh Street in Greensburg.

According to police, the first rock put a large crack in the windshield of a car driven by a 19-year-old woman.

The second rock went through the moon roof of the car and ended up hitting the dashboard, officials say.

The driver was not injured and the investigation continues.
