Man Arrested In Westmoreland Co. Pharmacy Robbery

EAST HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― A Westmoreland County man has been arrested in connection to robberies in both Fayette and Westmoreland counties.

State police say the suspect, identified as Calvin Shawley, was arrested at a home on Breakiron Road in Fayette County.

According to investigators, Shawley is believed to be responsible for the robbery of a CVS Pharmacy in Mt. Pleasant just after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Police say Shawley, 30, of Ruffsdale, allegedly made off with money and Fentanyl patches, which is a pain medication.

Shawley could also face charges in a second robbery in Fayette County.

Police have not released the details of that incident.
