Parkway West Lane Closures, Parkway East Clear

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Drivers on the Parkway West will run into some roadwork this weekend.

Outbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane near the Greentree Road exit.

The outbound off-ramp to Greentree Road will also be closed.

However, drivers on the Parkway East will get a break this weekend.

PennDOT canceled their work between the Edgewood-Swissvale and Churchill.

That's in order to minimize traffic problems during this weekend's events including the Tour of Pennsylvania bike race.

Work is tentatively scheduled to resume on Monday night, June 30.
