Changes Coming To Powerball Game
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
A larger starting jackpot and longer odds are among the changes Powerball players will see in a few weeks.
The first drawing of the enhanced Powerball game will be held on January 7.
That's when the starting jackpot will increase to $20 million.
Also, four white ball numbers will be added and three red powerballs will be removed.
The numbers will also be drawn in Florida instead of Iowa.
Long-time Powerball host Mike Pace has decided not to make the move to the Sunshine State.
You can watch the live Powerball drawing every Wednesday and Saturday night, just before the late news on KDKA-TV.
