Woman Arrested After Homer City Police Chase

HOMER CITY BOROUGH (KDKA) ― A woman was arrested after leading a police on a chase through Homer City Borough Saturday morning.

According to police, Diana Douds, 25, of Derry, was initially pulled over for failing to stop at two stops signs.

Douds did stop her vehicle initially and while police were running her information, she took off on State Route 119 South toward Center Township.

Police clocked her at speeds in excess of 110 mph for the majority of the pursuit.

She led police to the Homer City Generation Station and nearly hit a security officer's vehicle head on.

The security officer swerved out of the way nearly causing another accident.

At that time, Douds stopped her car voluntarily and was arrested.

She is facing a list of charges that includes: aggravated assault, fleeing, reckless endangerment and reckless driving.

She is being held in the Indiana County Jail on $10,000 bail.
