911 Restored In Turtle Creek, Monroeville Area

MONROEVILLE (KDKA) ― Officials now say phone service has been restored for hundreds of local people.

A phone cable was cut in the Turtle Creek-Monroeville area last night along James Street.

The problem affected several hundred people living in McKeesport, Monroeville, Wilkins Township and Turtle Creek.

Some Verizon customers were not able to dial 911 due to the problem.

Everything should now be back to normal.
