The Pittsburgh Penguins (11-3-0) begin a four-game roadtrip in Anaheim Tuesday night against the Ducks (4-6-2).
Anaheim is struggling so far this season, after knocking off the No. 1-seeded San Jose Sharks and pushing the Detroit Red Wings to a Game 7 in last year's playoffs.
The Ducks enter tonight's game having lost five of their last six games, including a 3-2 shootout loss to the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday.
As a result of the slow month of October, the Ducks find themselves in the basement of the Pacific Division and trail fourth place Dallas by seven points. San Jose leads the division with 21 points.
Corey Perry leads the team with eight goals and seven assists so far this season.
After scoring 49 goals in the last two seasons, Ryan Getzlaf has only registered one so far this season to go along with his 10 assists.
In goal, Jonas Hiller (4-4, 2.91 GAA, .916 save percentage) has assumed the starting job.
Former Conn Smythe winner Jean-Sebastien Giguere has not been the same goalie that nearly stole the Stanley Cup from the New Jersey Devils in 2003 or the one who won a Cup in 2007.
He's started three games this season and holds a 0-2 record with a 3.64 GAA and .895 save percentage. He has also been placed on the injured reserve list after suffering a groin injury last week.
This will also be the first meeting between the two clubs after the Pens traded Ryan Whitney for Chris Kunitz and Eric Tangradi at the deadline last season.
As for the Penguins, Tyler Kennedy has been practicing with the team after missing the last three games with an undisclosed injury.
According to the team's official Website, Kennedy is not in the lineup again for tonight's contest.
Marc-Andre Fleury will be back between the pipes tonight.
In two career games against the Ducks, he is 2-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .889 save percentage.
The Penguins have not lost on the road this season in six contests.
The puck drops at 10 p.m. and the game can be seen on FSN Pittsburgh.
