Police Step Up Road Patrols On Thanksgiving Eve

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Patrols are being stepped up tonight for what officials say is one of their biggest nights for drunken driving cases and accidents related to alcohol.

Police are warning drivers that the most dangerous time to be on the road on the night before Thanksgiving is between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Historically, there are more alcohol-related crashes and drunk driving arrests tonight than any other night of the year.
