Police Officer Injured in West End Crash

WEST END (KDKA) ― A police officer is recovering after an accident in the West End early Tuesday morning.

According to police, a vehicle rammed into the back of a police car around 1:30 a.m.

The officer in the car was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

The other driver was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving.
