Teen Helps To Save Family From House Fire

NEW CASTLE (KDKA) ― A teenager is being credited with helping to save a family from a house fire in New Castle Monday night.

The 17-year-old boy was driving by a house on Grange Hollow Road around 10 p.m. when he saw flames in a garage next to the home.

He called 911 and then went to the door of the house and banged on it to get the family out.

The fire has not been ruled suspicious and there are no reported injuries.
