Warrant Issued In North Point Breeze Murder

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― There are new developments in a homicide investigation in North Point Breeze.

City police issued a warrant overnight for 19-year-old Jesse Engram. He faces one count of criminal homicide in the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Korey Johnson.

Johnson was killed after being shot in his GMC Yukon on Monday night at the Sunoco station on Penn Avenue.

Police believe that Johnson was targeted and that this was not the first time.

They say he was also the intended target of a shooting that happened in Wilkinsburg back in April that took the life of 12-year-old Kholen Germany.

Witnesses at the gas station helped police to identify the suspect.

Police believe Engram frequents the Wilkinsburg and East Liberty areas.  He's described as a black male, 5'9" tall and weighs 165 pounds.

Stay with KDKA for more details.
