Investigators Question Men In Laughlintown Robbery

LAUGHLINTOWN (KDKA) ― Investigators say three people remain in custody today after being questioned in connection with the violent bank robbery earlier this week in Laughlintown.

Officials with the FBI say the men were questioned for several hours, but no charges have been filed in the case.

On Wednesday, officials say four men robbed the First Commonwealth Bank and got away with an undetermined amount of money.

Investigators say they also believe two gunshots were fired to possibly create a diversion at a nearby Dollar General store in Ligonier.

Authorities report that at least 30 law enforcement officer continue to investigate.

The FBI says that the community has been helpful in giving information in the case.
