Lightning Sparks House Fire In Masontown

MASONTOWN (KDKA) ― A lightning strike apparently started a house fire in Fayette County.

During a thunderstorm, lightning hit a house in Masontown, setting the attic on fire.

Firefighters were able to knock the flames down quickly.

The house only had minor damage – mostly from smoke and water.
