Mail Carrier Hit By Rocks In Washington County

WEST BROWNSVILLE (KDKA) ― State police in Washington County are searching for a teenager who threw rocks at a postal vehicle, injuring the postal worker and causing her to crash.

Officials say the teenager was between 14 and 16 years old, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The incident happened on Route 88 near Bridge Street in West Brownsville around 2:55 p.m. Saturday.

The driver, 38 year-old Kerri Capozzoli, was hit in the eye and crashed the vehicle into a utility pole.

Capozzoli was not injured.
