Police Probe Attack On Elderly Clairton Woman
CLAIRTON (KDKA) ―
An elderly woman from Clairton was beaten, stabbed and robbed inside of her home Saturday night.
Sally Beland Austin and Paulett Bradford found their 83-year-old neighbor on the floor and covered with blood.
They went to check on her after they noticed her TV was on but her car was missing.
Police found her stolen car two blocks away from her house.
Allegheny County Detectives took the car to process it for evidence.
Additionally, some of her valuables, including her purse, garage door opener and parts of her wallet were found in Wilson, on the other side of Clairton.
Meantime, the victim is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries and her assailant or assailants are on the loose.
Neighbors hope she recovers so she can help police catch her attackers.
