Illegal Alien Identified As Assault Suspect

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Police have identified the man suspected of sexually assaulting a 16-yeear-old girl on a Greyhound bus on Monday.

Ivan Ernesto Vidal-Diaz, 33, is in the Allegheny County Jail after been charged with sexually assaulting the girl.

Police say the Honduran national, who was residing in Minnesota, he pretended to be sleeping when he leaned on the victim prior to assaulting her.

The victim told the bus driver what had happened. The driver then contacted the police.

Vidal-Diaz was removed from the bus at the Monroeville interchange by the Monroeville Police.
