Woman Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Boyfriend

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A woman from Baldwin has been arrested following a fatal shooting Saturday evening in downtown Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh police say 20-year-old Ciara Roberts has been charged with homicide in connection to the death of her 28-year-old boyfriend, Chondale Terry.

The shooting happened near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Wood Street before midnight.

According to authorities, Terry was walking away from an argument that he and Roberts were having when she followed after him.

Police said that the shooting reportedly happened when she caught up to him.

Police say Terry was taken to a local hospital for a gunshot wound to the chest where he later died.

Roberts was taken into custody at the scene.

Officials say that Terry and Roberts had been living together in Baldwin.

The investigation continues.
