The G-20 Summit has come and gone and most of the protestors who were arrested during it have been released.
According to a
police report with the identities of all the arrested individuals, 190 people were arrested during the many demonstrations around the city.
The breakdown of the number of people arrested by day is:
There were 91 people arrested just from the Western Pennsylvania region.
Not all of the people taken into custody were from the Pittsburgh area, or even Pennsylvania.
In all, people from 20 states and the District of Columbia were arrested, not including Pennsylvania.
Those states include: California, Illinois, Oregon, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Virginia, New York, Michigan, North Carolina, Maryland, Colorado, Ohio, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Texas, Minnesota, Nevada, Connecticut, Georgia, and Alabama.
There is a possibility that more states could be represented in the arrest numbers, but 19 people were either not identified or no address was filed in the police report.
