The G-20 Summit has been over for more than a day now, but several protestors held a vigil outside the Allegheny County Jail this evening.
About 30 protestors staged a vigil at the jail as some of the more than 100 demonstrators that were arrested in Oakland Friday night were being released.
The protestors raised questions about the methods used by the police on Friday in Oakland, saying that some innocent bystanders were arrested.
The police contend that anyone who was arrested had adequate warning that they were part of an illegal assembly.
Meanwhile, a group of about 50 people were spotted sitting around concession tables at corner of Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard late Saturday night.
They reportedly got up just before 11 p.m. and headed along Forbes Avenue toward Bouquet Street chanting, "No Justice, No Peace."
At that point a number of police officers headed toward them in cars, no word on whether they dispersed afterward.
Also, at the University of Pittsburgh, officials have told their students that they should, in the words of the university, exercise common sense in situations given what's happened over the past few days.
