Nemacolin Woodlands Filled For G-20 Summit

FARMINGTON (KDKA) ― When world leaders come to Pittsburgh in September for the G-20 Summit, many of them will stay at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington.

The Fayette County resort says all of its 330 rooms have been reserved during that time, but they don't yet know who exactly will be staying in them.

Resort officials say they are fully prepared to accommodate the leaders in any way.

Many are expected to fly into the area on private jets by way of Nemacolin's private runway.

They'll then have the option to fly by helicopter to Pittsburgh or enjoy a scenic drive through the mountains.

Presidents including Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have stayed at Nemacolin, so the resort says it is seasoned to provide whatever security measures the guests may request.

Resort officials say many of the guests are expected to bring their families and spend some extra time in the area.

They'll also be able to enjoy Nemacolin's world-class amenities including a lavish spa and golf course.

Nemacolin is located about an hour and fifteen minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.
