Firefighter Collapses, Dies In Clarion County

STRATTANVILLE (KDKA) ― A volunteer firefighter in Clarion County died while on the scene of a fire this morning.

Officials say the 27-year-old firefighter from the Strattanville Volunteer Fire Department was fighting a debris fire.

He reportedly complained of a massive headache when he was finished fighting the fire, and the collapsed at the scene.

The firefighter was treated, but later died.

Officials say an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of his death.
