Local Plastics Plant Up & Running After Fire

CONNOQUENESSING TWP. (KDKA) ― A plastics plant in Butler County is back up and running today following a fire on Friday night.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Plastics facility in Connoquenessing Township.

Officials say a piece of equipment inside the plant caught fire.

According to officials, about 20 to 30 workers were evacuated as firefighters put out the fire.
