Man Dies After Apartment Fire Downtown

(KDKA) The man injured in Wednesday morning's apartment building fire in Downtown Pittsburgh has died.

Officials say Richard Piotrowski, 62, died at Mercy Hospital.

According to investigators, he was injured when a fire started on a couch in his living room at the Roosevelt Arms apartment building on Penn Avenue.

Fire officials say that the blaze was contained to just one apartment on the third floor.
