Man Killed In Mercer County Crash

SPRINGFIELD (KDKA) ― A man from Butler County was killed when he lost control of his car on Interstate 79.

Nathan Kilmer, 33, of West Sunbury, swerved into the path of another car Tuesday around 6:30 p.m. as he was traveling south through Springfield, Mercer County.

Kilmer's car then hit an embankment and rolled several times, ejecting both him and a passenger, Melissa Kilmer.

Melissa Kilmer suffered moderate injuries and was flown to Allegheny General Hospital.

Her condition is unknown.

Three children in Kilmer's car were uninjured.

No one was injured in the other vehicle.
