W. Va. Man Killed In Perry Twp. Head-On Crash
PERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ―
One person was killed and another person was injured in head-on crash early this morning in Greene County.
Officials say 26-year-old Jacob Hively, of Spencer, W. Va., was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
It happened just after 2 a.m. along south Route 0079 in Perry Township.
According to state police, a truck slammed head-on with Hively's car.
Police say the truck was traveling northbound in the southbound right lane when the accident happened.
The 33-year-old woman in the truck, who officials say was from Wyoming, was taken to West Virginia University Hospital to be treated. She has not yet been identified.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
