Man Killed In Indiana County ATV Crash

SHELOCTA (KDKA) ― One man is dead after an overnight ATV accident in Indiana County.

The Indiana County coroner says that 23-year-old Ryan Henry, of Indiana, and a 15-year-old female passenger were riding an ATV on Main Street in Shelocta when it struck a newspaper vending box and then a utility pole.

Both Henry and his passenger were thrown from the vehicle.

Henry was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center where he later died.

The unidentified passenger was flown to Allegheny General Hospital by emergency helicopter.

She was last listed in serious condition according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. 

The coroner reports that neither Henry nor his passenger was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
