Pittsburghers Asked To Honor Fallen Heroes

MORE: Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Fraternal Order of Police and Mayor Luke Ravenstahl are asking Pittsburghers to pay tribute to the city's fallen heroes this weekend.

This Sunday will mark six months since Pittsburgh Police Officers Eric Kelly, Paul Sciullo II and Stephen Mayhle were killed.

The three were shot during a standoff on the morning of April 4th in Stanton Heights.

Mayor Ravenstahl as well as the fallen officers' peers and colleagues are asking all Pittsburghers who bought a Fallen Heroes T-shirt to wear them this Sunday in honor of the men.

The Mayor and Fraternal Order of Police are holding a press conference today to announce their plans.
