Shirts Honoring City's Fallen Heroes For Sale
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
T-shirts designed to salute Pittsburgh Police Officers Paul Sciullo II, Stephen Mayhle and Eric Kelly sold out almost as soon as they came off the printing press; but now more of the shirts are available and proceeds will benefit the victims' families.
Pittsburgh Police Detective Patrick Moffatt designed the shirts to honor the memory of his colleagues who lost their lives while responding to a domestic dispute in Stanton Heights on April 4th.
The first batch of the shirts, however, quickly sold out.
Pittsburgh Police estimate that 12,000 of the memorial T-shirts have already been distributed throughout the city.
Now a special website has been set up for the shirt sales.
Anyone interested can log on to
PittsburghFallenHeroes.com to purchase the shirts.
The cost of the shirts range from $20 to $24, depending on the size.
Police say the proceeds from the shirt sales will go directly to the Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund, which benefits the families of the officers.
Donations can also be made to the Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund and sent to the following address:
