Explosives Found At Home In Indiana, Pa.
INDIANA, Pa. (KDKA/AP) ―
Emergency personnel in Indiana, Pa., evacuated residents within a 900-foot radius of a home as a precaution after the discovery of explosives in a home.
The Indiana County Emergency Management Agency says the explosives were found at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday at the Philadelphia Street home.
The Allegheny County Bomb Squad was called.
The county hazmat team and police and firefighters went door to door to tell residents to leave.
A temporary shelter was set up at the West Station along Indian Springs Road in White Township.
Motorists were diverted from surrounding streets while crews waited for the bomb squad.
