Neighbor Helps Douse Fire In Daisytown

DAISYTOWN (KDKA) ― A neighbor is being credited with helping to put out a home fire in Washington County Friday night.

The fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. on Ventura Drive in Daisytown.

No one was home at the time, but a neighbor smelled smoke and used a garden hose to help douse the flames.

The fire damaged both the kitchen and the upstairs of the house.
