Man Hospitalized After Attack In Friendship

FRIENDSHIP (KDKA) ― A man was beaten, robbed and left to die outside of a convenience store in Friendship late Monday evening.

According to police, the incident happened outside the Food Mart convenience store on Friendship Avenue around 11 p.m.

The victim, 53-year-old John Hall, was waiting for a friend when a man approached him and demanded money.

Police said the attacker struck Hall and stole his money.

He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and is in good condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
