Ground Breaking Held For Mt. Washington Condos

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Ground was broken this morning for Mt. Washington's newest luxury condominium.

Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and other dignitaries attended a ceremony to kickoff construction of Vista Grande located at 501 Grandview Avenue.

The Vista Grande is the first major condominium building on Mt. Washington in 20 years.

When complete, 11 upscale condos will be available.

They will feature many amenities including keyless entry, private balconies, stainless steel appliances, an observation deck with grills, bathroom and prep kitchen, exercise room and operable windows.

Construction will begin immediately and show be completed in 12 to 14 months.
