Dog Shot In Face Twice In Clairton
CLAIRTON (KDKA) ―
A reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of the person responsible for shooting a dog in the face in Clairton on Aug. 2.
A mixed breed dog named Cash was found in a wooded area near East Drive.
He was turned over to Animal Friends and treated for infection and pain. X-Rays were then taken and revealed that Cash had been shot twice.
One bullet shattered his jaw while the other bullet narrowly missed his eye.
Cash's owner, Cynthia Turner of Clairton, said he ran from her backyard while one of her children was giving him a bath.
Cash underwent successful surgery and is expected to make a full recovery and will be returned to his family soon.
