State police have filed charges against a man who stole scrap metal from a Latrobe auto shop.

Police released surveillance video of 55-year-old Edward Miller on Wednesday.

They say several viewers called in to identify the suspect.

According to police, Miller apparently saw himself on television because he returned the scrap metal to the shop last night.

He has been charged with theft.
