Hearing Date Set In Legislative Bonus Scandal

HARRISBURG (KDKA) ― A hearing date has been set for a dozen people who are at the center of the state's legislative bonus scandal.

It will be held October 7 in Dauphin County.

Among the defendants: former House Democratic Whip Mike Veon, of Beaver Falls and State Representative Sean Ramaley, of Economy.

Twelve people were indicted by a grand jury, accused of misusing $3 million in public money by diverting the funds to campaigns.
