Rock Blasting To Halt Traffic On Route 28

HARMAR TWP. (KDKA) ― Drivers should be ready for another round of blasting on the hillside above Route 28.

Crews will try once again to knock down some of that rock beginning at 10 a.m.

Traffic on Route 28 and Freeport Road will be stopped during the blast.

If things don't go exactly a planned, traffic may also be stopped in short increments throughout the day to clean up debris.
