3rd Suspect Arrested In Beltzhoover Murder

BELTZHOOVER (KDKA) ― A third suspect is in custody in connection with a fatal shooting in Beltzhoover on Saturday morning.

According to police, Andrew Samuels, 18, of Beltzhoover turned himself in around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Albert Bock, 30, was found shot to death on the front porch of his home on Beltzhoover Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Earlier this week, police arrested Joseph Gainer, 17, of Mt. Washington, and Aaron Phillips, 18, of Mt. Oliver.

According to officials, Bock had just returned home with several people when three armed suspects approached and robbed them. Police say Gainer demanded that Bock let him inside; but then shot him before Bock could comply.

Gainer and Phillips are now facing charges including criminal homicide, robbery, criminal conspiracy and carrying a firearm without a license.
