State police looking for a suspect following a bank robbery at the F&M Bank in the Hilltop Plaza in Kittanning on Friday.

State police in Armstrong County are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery Friday.
It happened just before 6 p.m. at the F&M Bank in the Hilltop Plaza in Kittanning.
According to police, the suspect had a small box in a plastic bag when he walked into the bank.
Authorities say "the suspect handed the teller a note that demanded money and indicated that there was a bomb in the box."
The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money, officials said.
He is described as a white man, 5'7" to 6' tall, 150 to 175 pounds, between 30- to 40-years-old with a light complexion, short hair and was clean shaven.
He was wearing tan pants, a gray sweater and a tan hat.
