Neighbor's Tip Leads To Sex Offender Arrest

JEANNETTE (KDKA) ― A neighbor's tip led police to a registered sex offender in Jeannette who is now accused of sexually assaulting another young person.

Joseph Risher's neighbor called police after several young boys were seen going into the man's apartment.

Police found two 12-year old boys inside.

Risher later confessed to performing sex acts on the boys.

Risher is a registered sex offender who is listed on the Megan's Law website.

His listed address is his mother's home in Hempfield Township not the Jeannette apartment complex where he was actually living.
