Police Catch Suspected Female Armed Robber

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh Police have arrested a woman accused in a string of convenience store robberies.

Investigators plan to charge ReNee Bonwell, 24, of Whitehall, with robberies in Banksville and Brookline.

They also will file charges against Vincent Scozio, 29, also from Whitehall.

Bonwell and Scozio will also face charges for an attempted robbery this afternoon in South Park Township.

Police say Bonwell allegedly had a gun.

Whitehall and West Mifflin police departments helped in the investigation.
