Dog Skinned, Decapitated In Dunbar Twp.

DUNBAR TWP. (KDKA) ― State police are investigating a case of animal cruelty in Fayette County.

It happened on Monarch Road in Dunbar Township.

Police say someone called 911 on Saturday to report that a dog was found skinned and decapitated.

The Fayette County SPCA says it was a house dog, possibly a beagle.

Officials say the scene was gruesome.

The owner of the dog is not yet known.

Anyone with information is asked to contact state police in Uniontown at (724) 439-7111.


Thanks to an anonymous donor, a $2,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
