One Person Injured In Parkway North Accident

(KDKA) All lanes of the Parkway North have been reopened near the Bellevue exit after an accident early this morning injured one person.

However, heavy delays are continuing in the area of the Bellevue/West View interchange this morning.

State police say the accident happened when a vehicle swerved to avoid a disabled car along the road and ended up going over the hillside.

One person in the vehicle that went over the hill was injured and taken to UPMC Presbyterian. So far there are no reports on that person's condition.

Officials say the person in the disabled car was not hurt.
