Canonsburg Man Killed In Washington Co. Accident

CHARTIERS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― A Canonsburg man was killed early Sunday morning following a one-vehicle accident in Washington County.

The accident happened just before 5 a.m. on Ullom Road in Chartiers Township.

According to the Washington County Coroner, 27-year-old Michael Romanetti died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Officials say Romanetti lost control of his vehicle at the intersection of Washington Road and Old Hickory Ridge Road. His vehicle hit two trees before coming to a stop.

The Coroner reports that the victim was wearing a seatbelt.

A passenger in the vehicle was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Pittsburgh, authorities say. There is no word on the person's condition.
