Police Investigate Shooting In Youngwood
YOUNGWOOD (KDKA) ―
State Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in Youngwood.
It happened around 9:00 p.m. Monday just off Fourth Street, which is the portion of Route 119 that runs through the area.
Police say 31-year old Robert Dunn shot 28-year old Greg Smith in the leg.
Police say the men knew each other and they believe the shooting was in connection to a previous altercation.
They say the shooting happened in an alley and no one else was in danger.
Dunn is now charged with criminal attempt at homicide.
People living in the area helped the victim at the scene until an ambulance arrived.
There is no word on his condition at this time.
Police say the investigation continues.
