Crews Cleaning Up After Water Main Break At Mall

GREENSBURG (KDKA) ― Crews are cleaning up a major water main break at the Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg.

The break, which was reported shortly after 9am, affected one of the main lines into the mall and sent water gushing into the lower level.

In some places on the ground level the water was ankle-high.

Department stores and stores on the top floor are open for business.
 
Damage to the lower level stores has not yet been determined.

Mall officials are hoping to have everything back open by the end of the day.
